This mission is achieved by balancing and improving five metrics: customer on-time delivery, inventory, lead-time, forecast accuracy and resource optimization.

The role reports to the GPG/Hub Planning & Fulfillment Manager. As a College Intern Planning and Fulfillment, you will be responsible for supporting the Planning and Fulfillment Team within the North America (NA) HUB. The NA HUB Planning & Fulfillment (P&F) team's responsibilities include planning and optimizing the current production capacity within the Industrial Solutions supply chain network and driving long term solutions to support volume changes and product strategies. Additionally, this position will support the monthly supply chain readiness (Supply Review) process and the integration of the output from this process into the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Process.

Your responsibilities
  • Creating the Supply Demand Synchronization (SDS) reviews
  • Develop 12+ month capacity forecasts based on historical trends and upcoming requirements
  • Define meaningful metrics and processes for scaling and sizing capacity demands
  • Perform capacity analytics to drive capacity optimization across the network
  • Develop standard work, tools and best practices for capacity planning within the sites
  • Implement reviews and standard templates for capacity planning and production readiness across the network
  • Monitor demand loading at the plants to ensure incoming order entry & released orders load achieves desired slot plan
  • Participate in meetings with cross-functional team members to support business initiatives and adjust capacity projects accordingly
  • Determine capacity impact / feasibility of new products, product changes and work transfers
Your background
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, statistics, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Exceptional analytical skill set, including use of Microsoft products (excel, access, PowerPoint)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
