Position Description: | There is an open joint post-doctoral position in the laboratories of Samuel Young, PhD and Marlan Hansen, MD at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Iowa City, IA. https://young.lab.uiowa.edu/ https://medicine.uiowa.edu/oto/profile/marlan-hansen The Young and Hansen laboratories are working in collaboration to develop novel viral vector mediated gene therapy approaches to treat sensorineural hearing loss. Education Requirement: | Candidates must have a PhD in a related scientific discipline |
Required Qualifications: | At least one first author publication. |
Desirable Qualifications: | A background in virology, mouse models, inner ear biology, and hearing is preferred. |
