We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a QA Technician supporting the Technician Quality Team, you will be trusted to supporting validation work in manufacturing quality of materials and packaging at Fort Worth, Texas in US.
 

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Performing analyses, inspection, and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and/or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property.
  • Performing required inspections, checks, analysis and documentation of studies and a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.
  • Preparing and monitoring quality statistics and reports and reviewing production records for conformance to procedures.
  • Conducting non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged or tested product and evaluating non-conforming results and initiating re-sampling, re-testing, and/or hold procedures.
 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • Work hours: Monday through Friday / 6:30am to 3:00pm
  • Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
