We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As an Intelligent Automation Solutions Architect supporting the U.S. IT Intelligent Automation Team in Fort Worth, TX a typical day will include:

  • Discover, Assess, Architect, Design and Develop Automation Use cases
  • Explore innovative automation solutions and demonstrate value through Proof-Of-Concept
  • Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of solutions
  • Architect solutions and ensure that detailed designs match high level designs and are traceable to requirements in functional specification
  • Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation
  • Initiate solution testing to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Establish standardized design and development processes to enable cost effective delivery
  • Ensure that release delivers the expected outcomes and value for the business
  • Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Solution Delivery scope

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Work hours: 40
  • Travel Requirements: up to 10% Intl.
  • Relocation assistance: Yes

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with RPA (Robotics Process Automation); preferably with AutomationAnywhere
  • Experience architecting AI based automation solutions and leading teams.
  • Experienced with working in DevOps model
  • Experienced working with global business stakeholders and multiple IT teams.
  • Good Coordination and Communication skills
  • Ability to understand business processes and help optimize processes for improving efficiency
  • Experience with leading teams involving multiple technology platforms
  • Experience automating use cases involving SalesForce.com, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow
  • Experience in Advance Analytics and Generative AI.
  • Experience with Process Discovery and Process Mining
