Job Description

Under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse, provide CV testing and nursing care in an ambulatory care setting. Responsibilities include collection of data, administration of medications, treatments, and testing, and documentation of care provided. Perform duties within the scope of the Missouri State Board of Nurse Practice Act.



Minimum Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program

  • Licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Missouri

  • Certified BLS and must maintain for continued employment

  • Certified ACLS and must maintain for continued employment

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Cardiovascular Nursing preferred

  • Clinical experience and training in heart rhythm analysis preferred

  • Clinical experience with management of permanent pacemakers preferred


Preferred Qualifications

  • State approved certification in IV Therapy

  • 2-5 years' experience in a Cardiology office/clinic setting

  • Possesses basic computer skills
