As part of DaVita's efforts to bring the gift of value-based care to as many patients as possible, the Nephrology Care Alliance (NCA) works directly with over 2,100 nephrologists nationally to drive innovation and better collaboration in value-based care delivery to the patients we serve.

NCA Directors shape company direction including developing value-based payment models, evaluating new business opportunities within and beyond kidney care, and shaping company-wide strategies and initiatives to solve such problems as: increasing accessibility to critical procedures for kidney patients, improving home dialysis adoption, and defining early stage Chronic Kidney Disease value-based care models.

NCA is a ~10-person team that collaborates widely across DaVita senior leadership to impact value-based care for the organization. We use a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solve and enhance high-level decision-making. We offer a flexible, remote-first work model balanced with in-person team meetings several times each year.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Develops and owns delivery of, short- to mid-term strategy for NCA concepts. Leads development of product concepts from ideation through implementation, including designing financial, clinical, and technical alignment structures. Measures and evaluates concept performance for ongoing program impact.
  • Provides direction on NCA team development and fosters culture of operational excellence.
  • Proactively builds collaboration across DaVita to support business strategy. Removes barriers and challenges for NCA team to ensure project success.
  • Provides data integrity for product concepts, including detailed quality assurance of financial and operational models to drive decision-making. Provides clear documentation to support long term project operations.
  • Distills complex business problems into cohesive, impactful recommendations. Advances overall product portfolio and broader objectives of NCA to support the health ecosystem of nephrology.
  • Presents comfortably and compellingly to senior audiences, manages relationships with senior business leaders, and influences diverse group of stakeholders through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's required
  • MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience in management/strategy consulting, or in an analytical or strategic role within healthcare or technology
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to synthesize and convey research/analyses to senior management
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to impact change

Salary/ Wage Range

$122,000.00-$177,900.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
