Overview

NV5 Geospatial is actively recruiting a Product Manager to oversee new initiatives to build and process geospatial data in the cloud and to support enterprise software development. The position will be responsible for enterprise software products in the company's Innovation & Development department. In addition to product management activities, this position will contribute to the growth of business by identifying opportunities, following up on opportunities identified by other company teams, representing NV5 Geospatial at industry events, and other business development activities, as necessary.

Work Environment:

    Location: NV5 Regional Offices (Portland, OR; Corvallis, OR; or Lexington, KY) or remotely within the United States
  • Travel up to 20%

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large, multi-year enterprise software products, using the Agile development methodology in a Scrum framework
  • Manage project stakeholders in a collaborative and professional manner to identify product needs and acceptance
  • Support technical project team(s), consisting of Architects, Software Engineers, DevOps, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), located in various corporate offices, home offices, etc.
  • Manage product teams and tasking utilizing web-based collaboration tools and established project management tools (e.g., Jira, Kanban boards, Slack, etc.) to keep work within planned schedules and budgets
  • Facilitate product stakeholder engagement throughout the product life cycle.
  • Contribute technical subject matter expertise and domain knowledge, as necessary
Qualifications
  • Three years (minimum) of technical product or project management
  • Knowledge of the software applications development lifecycle.
  • Highly motivated team player with mature, positive attitude and passion to meet the challenges and opportunities of the business
  • Demonstrated experience working within an Agile software development methodology, using the Scrum framework
  • Ability to manage and prioritize complex project tasks
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to write/compile technical information
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to new technology trends and translate them into solutions that address client needs
