Fire Alarm – Job Foreman/Superintendent Level

Job Responsibilities

  • Initially work as a Journeyman Fire Alarm Installer/Job Foreman on projects, with a potential to grow into a Superintendent role as the local office and field crew size grows.
  • Install, repair, and maintain all types of fixed fire alarm systems.
  • Acquire and maintain all required local licensure.
  • Install and service a variety of other fire protection equipment such as fire pumps, foam systems, and clean agent systems.
  • Conduct work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, safe work practices, etc.
  • Work may include off hours/shift/weekend work as required.
  • Oversee multiple crews and projects at one time.
Qualifications
  • Must be willing to become/be a member of the IBEW Local 100. 
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.
  • Large project & Job Foreman experience required.
  • Superintendent experience a plus.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma OR GED required.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, including working outdoors, hot/cold weather, etc.
  • NICET Level III in fire alarm systems is required.
