NaphCare is hiring Nursing Assistants(CNAs/LNAs) and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) just like you at theArizona Department of Corrections located in Phoenix, AZ. Full Time Shifts, Part Time Shifts, and PRN Shifts are available! Pay rates range from $17.00 - $25.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership and PRN employee availability.

Responsibilities for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs):

  • Assist with direct patient care procedures
  • Obtain patient history
  • Take Vital Signs
  • Prepare Charts
  • Assist with medical examinations
  • Perform routine procedures under stablished protocols (to include but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG's, dressing changes and wound cultures)

Qualifications for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs):

  • Current Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant inSTATE
  • Normal physical requirements - standing, walking, sitting, lifting, squatting, etc.
  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate
  • Valid CPR Card
  • Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably correctional healthcare
