Maintenance Planner job responsibilities include:

  • Plan, scheduled, and coordinated large volume repair and maintenance work for multiple SMWE facilities.
  • Analyze workloads and employee availability; prioritize repair and maintenance work; prepare and monitor workload schedules; assure the availability of required supplies; and review schedules to meet changing priorities.
  • Investigate areas of operations to which automated data processing may be applied to increase efficiency and reduce costs; participates in the development of CMMS for use in work measurement recording, cost accounting and specific project applications; train team members and users in the use of CMMS.
  • Monitor work progress by comparing completion rates with schedules and advise maintenance supervisor or manager of jobs requiring expediting.
  • Review work records for reporting accuracy; supervise the updating and maintaining of repair records.
  • Build professional levels of customer service with vendors, state, and federal agencies.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required. An undergraduate degree and/or graduation from a technical school are preferred.
  • Three plus (3+) years' experience in a winery, food processing facility, or similar environment involving the responsibilities for planning in the areas as outlined above.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude requiring knowledge and/or experience in the following areas: industrial refrigeration, juice process equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, wastewater, potable water, refrigeration, steam boilers, building materials and maintenance, as well as mechanical repairs of pumps, filters, temperature control systems, and HVAC.
  • Extensive experience with a CMMS; Oracle JDE preferred.
  • Considerable knowledge of successfully managing maintenance inventory.
  • Must be 21 years of age (alcohol).

Your Compensation:

$80,554 -$104,656/yr. Based on relevant experience.
